After playing a math game on the Smart Board, the Chipmunks and Starfish listened to the book, "Little Cloud," and participated by naming the shape the cloud changed into before joining the one giant cloud as the rain came down. We experimented with making rain by taking a cotton ball, soaking it in water, and then squeezing the rain out into a clear cup. Someone asked, "Where does water come from to fill up the cloud?" and one of the children answered, "From the ocean." After our experiment we went outside to the small "lagoon" area, swung on the tire swings and took photos of a few wispy clouds.
