November 10
Today we combined our group time with The Starfish and played a number game. Each child picked a carpet square, turned it over and identified the number on the square or the colors in the square or both number and colors. The numbers were placed against the wall, randomly. After all numbers were chosen, children had a chance to put them in the correct order. Later on in the day we shelled peanuts, hammered them in a plastic bag, ate our peanut butter and then read the book "Peanut Butter and Jelly," with Mrs. Goell.
