Tuesday October 28

Our circle group will revisit the story THE THREE LITTLE PIGS. But this time each child will be asked what kind of a house would they build if they had a choice of straw, wood or brick. This will be recorded on a graph where we will see what was the most popular material and why. After the polls have been taken, we will sing the song "FIVE LITTLE PIGS ROLLED IN THE MUD".

Wednesday October 29

We will start our group with "The Hooky Spooky," dance and then read, "The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything," as we take part in chanting out this story. Each child will have an object from the story to hold up as it is told. The objects (shirt/shoes/hat/gloves/pants/pumpkin) combine to make a scarecrow. After the story we'll go on a hunt for our carved scary pumpkin head by following clues. There may be a surprise inside.
