Week of November 3 - 7
On Monday we will vote on which book to read at circle time either "Clifford's Halloween," or "The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything," by dropping a unifix cube into a dish in front of each book displayed. After counting the cubes we will decide which book should be read to the group. The number will be recorded on a chart that will keep track of things voted on and the numbers recorded. This is a way of making numbers "real," and starting to understand what voting is all about. We will introduce the sense of sight by singing "Open Shut Them" with our eyes open and then closed. We'll end our circle by drawing to music with our eyes open and then closed.
