As we continue to think about being a baker we chant the rhyme, Pat A Cake, finishing as I hold up a name card and point out the first letter in each child's name. We try out a new bean bag song that challenges everyone to put their bean bags on their heads, elbows, shoulders, etc., and then throw and catch the bag (every one's favorite part). The song is a fun way to learn the parts of the body and also requires listening and following directions quickly. We carried our chairs to the drawing table with our name cards and had a chance to draw a bean bag shape on the paper.
